Rev 1.00.20 – Effective 6/26/2017

Rev 1.00.20 Updates:
• Addition of a ZERO-only calibration.
• Option from 201 web page to load configuration only OR configuration and calibration both (previous version only loaded both with the ability to load cofig only).

Rev 1.00.19 Updates:
• Enforce zero limit (trL) when USA = NO and LFT = YES.
• For the below listed strings, show below zero status for currently displayed mode (Gross or Net) instead of just for Gross:
- SMA
- IQ355
- Comp1
- Comp2

Rev 1.00.18 Updates:
• Handles ModbusTCP connections more quickly so the display does not get bogged down by quick connections and disconnections.

Rev 1.00.18A Updates:
• This revision expands our in-house group of acceptable MAC addresses. Functionality does not change on user-end.

Rev 1.00.17 Updates:
• Added ability to do “False Zero Calibration”. Adjusts Span but not zero. Useful for tank weighing applications.
• Enable Import of settings taken from older revisions.
• Look for Ethernet connections during runtime if initial connection fails.
• Drive digital outputs via EIP or Modbus.
• Allow Modbus to read current DIO (EIP already does this).
• Add heartbeat to EIP to detect freezes.

Rev 1.00.16 Updates:
• Fixed Export/Import issues when using Internet Explorer.

• Fixed hang-up on boot when absolute deadload is 0.

Rev 1.00.14 Updates:
• Added watchdog to allow indicator to recognize and recover from a crash.

Rev 1.00.12 Updates:
• Added RiceLake IQ355 format.
• Added UDP broadcast mode selection to raw server output.

Rev 1.00.11 Updates:
• Added Import/Export/Default settings to Diagnostics Web Page.

Rev 1.00.10 Updates:
• Fixed a bug that could cause calibration to be lost if the scale was zeroed while no scale was attached.

Rev 1.00.09 Updates:
• Fixed some issues with DFC.

Rev 1.00.08 Updates:
• Added rate of flow measurement to always be in modbus communication. If rate of flow is disabled, zero will be transmitted.

Rev 1.00.08A Updates:
• Fixed some issues with the Net fill modes of the DFC.
• Fixed an issue with the DFC timer.
• Added zero tolerance to DFC. Now when zero tolerance > 0, the 201 will dump to zero tolerance rather than dump until no motion.
• Added auto print to DFC. Now upon capturing the final weight the DFC will print to all channels set up as printer outputs. This also means that gross and net weight accumulators will get updated accordingly.

Rev 1.00.07 Updates:
• Added Digital Fill Control options and configuration parameters.

Rev 1.00.06 Updates:
• Changed flow rate to use the weight filtering and sample rate to control the filtering of flow rate data.
• Fixed an issue with digital I/O by adding a few microseconds of debounce.

Rev 1.00.06A Updates:
• Added option to get weight data from the analog input (4-20mA or 0-10vdc) or from the normal scale input.
• Implemented the RS485/422 support for serial communications.
• Added an address byte input in setup for multidrop bus using the 485 port in 2 or 4 wire mode. If set to ‘0’, then the port will work like a RS422 port.
• Fixed an issue in the EIP transmission of high resolution weight and rate of flow which required toggling of the command bits.
• Fixed an issue with the weight output on all ports where zero weight was being transmitted when an error condition existed instead of sending dashes for the weight.

Rev 1.00.05 Updates:
• Fixed an issue with the backlight color setting for the current checkweigh range not taking effect immediately when changed from the web configuration page.
• Fixed an issue with the backlight color not getting set properly when the indicator starts up with a negative weight.
• Added flow rate calculation and output:
NOTE: It is recommended that filtering be set to Off or Minimal and sample rate be set to 1 in order to get the best results. More info to come with the updates to the 201 manual.
• Fixed some bugs with the EIP commands for zero and tare.
• Fixed an issue where the 201 failed to communicate to CompactLogix model PLC using EIP.
• Web page now correctly shows the default background color if checkweigh feature is turned off.

Rev 1.00.05B Updates:
• Fixed an issue with the 201 not outputting weight data after reconnecting to the raw Ethernet port when the weight format was set to a continuous output format.

Rev 1.00.05A Updates:
• Added min and max weight values for the DAC output channels in order to set the span for the output for the corresponding DAC channel.
• Analog setup webpage has the min and max parameters added in order to set the values.
• Indicator setup through the keypad now has the prompts added to set these min/max values through the setup under the Analog IO group.

Rev 1.00.04 Updates:
• Web page weight background color now matches the 201 display.
• Changes to presets take effect immediately without having to cycle power.

Planned Enhancements/Features:
• Add DFC command and control through EIP and Modbus TCP communication.
• Backup and restore of settings/calibration to SD Card.
• 201 update guide for field updating the software.

Update Instructions:
1.) Remove power from the 201 indicator.
2.) Press and hold the cal switch while applying power to the 201, the display should show “boot”.
3.) Connect the USB port of the 201 to your PC using a USB A to USB mini B cable.
4.) Open “My Computer” and look for “UPDATE 201” under your removable storage devices.
5.) Make sure the update is unzipped and drag and drop the update file to the “UPDATE 201” removable storage device.
6.) Wait for the update to complete. You should see a “SUCCESS.TXT” file appear in the “UPDATE 201” drive and “done” on the 201 display.
7.) Remove the USB cable and cycle power on the 201 to complete the update process.
